This unambiguous new work from the artist’s series of ‘Eternal Wisdom’ mixed- media Quote Portraits, centers upon the visage of Elie Wiesel—forever encapsulated in photographic form by David Shankbone. In addition to the photo, this piece is inspired by Wiesel’s everlasting words…

“We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”
